Prodigy Disc D2
The Prodigy Disc D2 is a very overstable distance driver (12/6/-0.5/3) - best for advanced players.
Our take on the D2
The Prodigy D2 is a speed 12 distance driver built for power throwers who want a dependable, overstable finish. At 2.5 stability with a -0.5 turn and a hefty 3 fade, this disc barely flips under power - it wants to hold its line and then carve hard left at the end (for a right-handed backhand). Think of it as Prodigy's answer to the more overstable Destroyer variants: a workhorse for forehands, headwinds, and consistent flex shots.
With 6 glide it is not a floaty max-distance bomber, and that is by design. The modest glide plus strong fade means the D2 fights for placement, not just raw distance. The 2.3 cm rim width is real distance-driver territory, so you need arm speed to make it sing.
This is an intermediate-to-advanced disc. If you cannot push speed 12, the D2 will fade out early and short. For the right arm, it is a reliable overstable tool offered across nine plastics and priced fairly at $15 to $20.
