Prodigy Disc A1
The Prodigy Disc A1 is a very overstable putt & approach (4/2/0/5) - best for advanced players.
Our take on the A1
The Prodigy A1 is a very overstable approach disc built for one job: holding a hard, reliable line into the basket no matter how hard you throw it. With flight numbers of 4 speed, 2 glide, 0 turn, and a punishing 5 fade, this is not a disc you putt with from the circle. It is a tool for approach shots, forehand flicks, and headwind throws where you want the disc to fight, finish left (for a right-handed backhand), and skip dead at your target.
The low 2 glide is a feature here, not a flaw. It keeps the A1 from floating past the basket, so it lands and stays put. The beadless rim and 1.4 cm width give it a comfortable, controllable grip for stand-still approaches and flick shots.
Think of it as Prodigy's answer to the Discraft Zone or Innova Harp. Rated for advanced players, it shines for throwers who already have enough power to make that big fade work for them rather than against them. Beginners will find it too overstable to be useful.
