MVP Disc Sports Volt
The MVP Disc Sports Volt is a overstable fairway driver (8/5/-0.5/2) - best for advanced players.
Our take on the Volt
The MVP Volt is the fairway driver you reach for when you want distance without surrendering control. With flight numbers of 8 speed, 5 glide, -0.5 turn, and 2 fade, it sits in the speed-8 control class - fast enough to get out there, slow enough that you can shape it on purpose. Rated stable (1.5) and beadless, it holds its line with just a hint of high-speed turn before a dependable but modest fade. Think of it as MVP's answer to an Innova Teebird, only with the company's signature overmold rim feel that resists turning over when you crank it.
This is an intermediate's disc. If you can already throw a midrange straight with some power, the Volt rewards a clean release with a long, controllable flight and forgives an off-axis wobble better than a more overstable driver would.
The 5 glide keeps it floating downrange, and the modest 2 fade means it lands predictably rather than dumping hard left. Beginners may find the speed a touch much, and big arms wanting a strong headwind disc will want something more overstable.
