Innova Teebird
The Innova Teebird is a overstable fairway driver (7/5/0/2) - best for advanced players.
Our take on the Teebird
If you want a fairway driver you can trust to do the same thing every throw, the Teebird is it. At speed 7 with 5 glide, a flat 0 turn and 2 fade, this is a straight-flying, dependably overstable driver that resists turning over even when you put a hard rip on it. Off the tee it holds your intended line without flipping, then finishes with a reliable, predictable fade left for a right-handed backhand. That consistency is exactly why it has been a tournament-bag staple for decades.
Throw this if you are an intermediate or advanced player who values placement over raw distance, or a stronger arm hunting tight, controlled fairway lines. Compared to the Innova Leopard, the Teebird is the more stable, less forgiving sibling - the Leopard turns for you, the Teebird makes you earn the line. New players with slower arms may find it wants more power than they have.
The DX runs around $9.99 and beats in fast for a more understable feel, while Champion and Star hold their overstability far longer at the top of the $23.99 range. Beadless and 21.2 cm in diameter, it sits comfortably in the hand.
