Innova Firebird
The Innova Firebird is a very overstable fairway driver (9/3/0/4) - best for advanced players.
Our take on the Firebird
The Innova Firebird is the disc you reach for when you need fade you can trust. With flight numbers of 9 speed, 3 glide, 0 turn, and a punchy 4 fade, it earns its Very Overstable label honestly. There is no high-speed turn here at all - the Firebird holds any line you give it, then dives hard left at the end (for a right-hand backhand). That makes it a control tool more than a distance bomber, and the modest 3 glide keeps it grounded instead of floaty.
Throw this when the wind kicks up, when you need a reliable forehand, or when you want a spike hyzer that lands and stays put. Headwinds that flip lesser drivers do not faze it. The beadless rim and 1.9 cm width keep it manageable for a 9-speed.
If you know the Innova Destroyer, the Firebird is its opposite: where the Destroyer wants to turn and bomb, the Firebird resists turn and finishes flat-left. Rated Intermediate to Advanced, it needs a real arm to shine, so beginners will see only the fade. For everyone past that stage, it is a staple.
