Gateway Disc Sports Wizard
The Gateway Disc Sports Wizard is a overstable putt & approach (2/3/0/2) - good for intermediate players.
Our take on the Wizard
If you want one putter to learn the green with and then keep for life, the Gateway Wizard earns the spot. At speed 2, glide 3, turn 0, fade 2 it is a stable, beaded putt and approach disc that holds the line you give it and finishes with a dependable, predictable fade rather than dumping early. That makes it forgiving on putts and trustworthy on long approaches where you need the disc to settle, not surprise you.
The 0 turn means it resists flipping, so it fights the wind and rewards a clean release without nosing over. The classic bead gives you a positive grip cue and a touch more resistance on the cement, while the 21 cm diameter and slim 1 cm rim keep it comfortable in any hand. Compared to an Innova Aviar, the Wizard runs a hair more stable and beaded, so it holds up better in a headwind and on firmer approach shots.
With plastics from grippy Diamond to premium Eraser and a price of about 12 to 19 dollars, it fits any bag and skill level - beginner through advanced.
